US team is the first to enter Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Ten days before the commencement of the World Cup, US players arrived in Qatar for the first time on Thursday.
The United States will face Iran on November 29 in one of the tournament's most politically sensitive games for the first time in eight years when they compete in the finals.
A Qatar Airways aircraft from New York that was among the first to access a newly opened area of Hamad International Airport had players on board, according to an AFP photographer who was present at the airport. The number of players on board was unknown.
Christian Pulisic, the team's captain, is one of many members of the 26-man roster who is based in Europe and still has domestic league games to play this weekend.
The crucial match against Iran, which has become one of the most sought-after tickets in Doha because to the political tensions between the two nations, will follow on November 25. Team USA's group B campaign will begin on November 21 against Wales, followed by England on November 25.
Gregg Berhalter is the head coach of the American team, which is staying at the Marsa Malaz Kempinski on the Pearl, a man-made island favored by expatriates north of Doha.
They will practice at the Al Gharafa club field, which is located roughly 15 kilometers (9 miles) away.
The US has participated in 11 World Cups. At the inaugural competition in 1930, they finished third. At the 1950 World Cup, they notably defeated England 1-0. In 2002, they advanced to the quarterfinals.
They made it to every final from 1990 to 2014, however they were unable to make it to Russia 2018.
