Twitter is divided over Ronaldo's controversial penalty

Ronaldo converted the penalty kick, becoming the first player to score in five World Cups. On social media, several people are criticizing the decision to impose the penalty.
Players from Ghana gathered around the area after Ismail Elfath pointed to it, including Salisu, who pleaded with the referee to look down because he thought there had been a dive. But the video assistance referee chose not to step in to allow Elfath a chance to review and perhaps reverse the judgment. The referee is only called if there may have been a clear and obvious error during every significant moment that is examined by VAR. Several people have also asserted that Salisu shoved the forward from behind, and the referee's ruling was a reasonable one.
