According to rumours, Man Utd may have to pay £64 million (€ 75 million) to acquire PSV and Dutch player Cody Gakpo. Gakpo has been a standout at the World Cup, scoring in each of his team's games during the group round. In the summer, Gakpo was almost acquired by Premier League teams for about £25 million. The 23-year-old was desperately sought after by Southampton and Leeds. Man Utd also expressed interest in the talented forward, but they put a deal for Antony first. Gakpo stayed at PSV.
Gakpo's £25 million worth from the summer has climbed by about £40 million in recent months, according to FootMercato.
