Lucas Hernandez is the FOURTH player to be ruled out from France's World Cup squad.

In the ninth minute of the game, immediately after Australia had scored, Hernandez injured his knee and walked off the field.
France's title defense in Qatar in 2022 has just suffered a setback due to Lucas' injury. Karim Benzema, the Ballon d'Or winner and Didier Deschamps' standout forward, suffered a thigh injury last week, forcing him to withdraw from the competition before it even began.
After being outplayed for the ball by Matthew Leckie, who crossed for Craig Goodwin to give Australia a startling lead, Hernandez, who was later substituted by his younger brother Theo, was seen clutching his knee for a few minutes.
