Liverpool 4 - 2 Tottenham. Liverpool dominate Tottenham showing signs of things turning around for Liverpool

In the game of Liverpool VS Tottenham at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 in the Premier League on Sunday, showing signs of turning things around for Liverpool.

With two games left, Klopp's team is now only five points behind leaders Arsenal and four points behind holders Manchester City, who have a game in hand over both. Goals from Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo, and Harvey Elliott have also helped his team close the gap.

The 18th league goal of the season was headed home by Liverpool's star player Salah in the sixteenth minute, and shortly before halftime, Robertson extended their lead with a tap-in. In the 50th minute, Gakpo headed in Elliott's cross. A moment later, the midfielder scored a goal of his own, curling a rocket 20 yards out into the upper corner.

Although Richarlison and Son Heung-min pulled two back to provide an exciting finale, Tottenham, who are currently fifth in the standings, were not going to mount a recovery.

This will be Jürgen Klopp's second last game at Liverpool as he stated few months back that he would be leaving Liverpool after the 2023-24 Premier League Season.
