Kevin Schade is close to joining Brentford following their impressive victory over Liverpool.

Following their historic victory over Liverpool at home, Brentford is nearing an agreement to recruit teenage Freiburg forward Kevin Schade as their first January signing.
Additionally, if specific performance-related add-ons are reached, there is an obligation to purchase Schade, and should that happen, Brentford is committed to spending somewhere around £20 million to sign him.
He has played in eight Bundesliga games so far this season, mostly on the right wing, although he has also recently started playing center forward. He has one goal to his credit. The Bees have been looking for potential replacements for Ivan Toney, who may receive a significant suspension if found guilty of breaking FA betting regulations.
They will continue looking for a more skilled player who may join them on loan if Toney is suspended, but Schade is a long-term aim and a player for the future they have been considering for some time.
