Jude Bellingham: PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi reveals interest in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder
The midfielder's performances have been "amazing," according to Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, who also acknowledges that "everybody" wants to sign the midfielder from Borussia Dortmund. Jude Bellingham has excelled for England at the World Cup, where they take on France in the round of eight on Saturday.After moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2020 from Birmingham, he has established himself as one of the most intriguing young talents in world football.In four games for England in Qatar, the 19-year-old has scored a goal and provided an assist.
"England (are) lucky to have him, to be honest," Al-Khelaifi added. "He's one of the best players in the tournament. "Amazing - his first World Cup. He's calm and relaxed, confident - amazing."
According to Florian Plettenberg, a transfer correspondent for , Sky Sports News: "Borussia Dortmund is pleased with Jude Bellingham's World Cup performance thus far because he is increasing his financial value. "Contrary to Erling Haaland, who had a release provision in his contract, Bellingham is under contract until 2025.
"For his summer departure in 2023, they have already begun to plan. Dortmund is confident in receiving a transfer fee between £86.24m and £129.37m, thus they would be okay with him departing."
