Germany knocked out despite beating Costa Rica

In their Group E match, Germany  defeated Costa Rica 4-2 but are unable to advance to the round of 16.
Sergi Gnabry and Niclas Fullkrg each scored one goal, while Kai Havertz scored twice. With a 1-0 lead, Germany entered the halftime break. They were put on the back foot, though, by two early goals from Costa Rica, before Germany rallied to regain the lead. They later added another goal to make the final score 4-2. . However, they fail to qualify for the round-of-16.
