The English Football Association announced on Sunday that, despite the heartbreaking disappointment of their World Cup quarterfinal exit, Gareth Southgate will continue as England's manager. After losing to the reigning world champions France last week in Qatar, the 52-year-old indicated he will give it some thought before deciding what to do next. He will continue to serve as coach, though, at least through the 2024 European Championship. The FA's chief executive Mark Bullingham said, "We are thrilled to confirm that Gareth Southgate is continuing as England manager and will oversee our Euro 2024 campaign.
