France defeated resilient Morocco 2-0 in a thrilling World Cup semi-final in Qatar with two goals from Theo Hernandez and Randal Kolo Muani.
In the fifth minute of the match, France defender Theo Hernandez scored the quickest goal. The defending champions broke Morocco's unbeaten streak at the biggest level by extending their lead in the second half and scoring the second goal through a replacement, Randal Kolo Muani.
Walid Regragui's team rallied excellently to Hernandez's fifth-minute goal to hold the world champions at bay for prolonged periods of time in a show of impressive bravery and skill.
France is now set to play Lionel Messi and Argentina in the world championship final on Sunday as they continue to be on track to become the first team to do so since Brazil in 1962.
