However, a football game is not the only memory the 60,000 spectators inside this wonderful stadium will carry with them.
The biggest sporting extravaganza in history will begin with a magnificent opening ceremony that will feature South Korean superstar BTS's Jung Kook and Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi.
The 30-minute opening ceremony of the inaugural World Cup following Covid-19 is anticipated to be watched by millions of viewers worldwide.
"All of humanity is gathered for the opening ceremony, bridging divides through inclusiveness, respect, and humanity," reads the theme statement. We can unite as a tribe via football, and the earth is our common home, according to a statement released by Fifa on Saturday.
"The seven-act production, which will feature tributes to the 32 competing teams, previous Fifa World Cup hosts, and event volunteers, will be directed by top-tier performers who will weave Qatari history with global culture.
Ghanim Al Muftah, the ambassador for the Fifa World Cup, and Qatari singer Dana will promote conversation on inclusion and diversity along with hundreds of other performers.
32 nations will compete in 64 matches at the 2022 World Cup, the first to be held in the Middle East, with the championship match taking place on December 18 at the legendary Lusail Stadium. Millions of foreign spectators can travel between the eight cutting-edge stadiums that Qatar has developed for this World Cup thanks to the superbly designed public transportation infrastructure.
To enter Qatar during the World Cup, spectators holding match tickets only need to present their Hayya Card.
