The FIFA World Cup 2022 is down to its last eight teams after another week of heart-pounding action that saw two round of 16 matches come down to penalties, resulting in two fantastic footballing stories and heartbreak for 2010 champions Spain and 2018 runner-up Croatia.
Matches for the quarterfinals will be place between December 9 and December 11.
