Brazil's Neymar makes a shocking announcement about the FIFA World Cup ahead of Qatar 2022, saying, "I can't promise that."

The hosts Qatar play Ecuador in the opening match of the FIFA World Cup on November 20. Brazil enters the World Cup with a star-studded team, led by Neymar, and is one of several favorites to win the competition. The Paris Saint-Germain forward will be playing in his third World Cup; his first was the home edition in 2014, when Brazil suffered a disastrous 1-7 loss to Germany in the semifinals (Neymar missed the game due to injury), and his most recent World Cup, in 2018, Belgium ended Brazil's campaign in the quarterfinals with a 2-1 victory.
This year, Brazil is one of the favorites to win the World Cup, but Neymar has left some major hints about his future with the national team before the tournament even gets off.
Insisting that the World Cup in Qatar might be his last, the Brazilian forward. Neymar said to Globo, "I'll play like it's my last."
Neymar continued, "I always talk to my father about playing every game like it's the last because you never know what will happen tomorrow.
Speaking further on the subject, the 30-year-old superstar said he hasn't made up his mind on the future yet but hinted that it would be challenging to adjust to a new coach.
I cannot promise that I will participate in another World Cup. Really, I have no idea. I'll act as though it were my last. Possibly, but possibly not, I'll play another. That varies. A new coach is going to take over, and I'm not sure if he'll like me or not," remarked Neymar.
Neymar is just two goals short of matching Pele's record for most goals scored in a single season for Brazil, and he will be attempting to do so during the World Cup.
It's more than I could have possibly dreamed of, he remarked. "I never considered numbers, and I never desired to surpass others or break records. All I've ever wanted to do is play football.
