Brazil's injury-riddled team needs poise to rule in Qatar, yet Neymar dependency persists

When South Korea plays five-time champions Brazil on Monday, they claim they have nothing to fear and nothing to lose. They have their eyes set on pulling off another act of greatness-killing in a World Cup when huge names have suffered defeats.
Brazilians as a whole have no shortage of faith in the success of their national football team. Those levels of assurance are enormous going into this World Cup.
Brazil, however, is rushing to recover from major player injuries as they get ready for their last-16 match against South Korea on Monday, after a drastically altered team fell to Cameroon 1-0 on Friday night. In the quarterfinals, the winners will either play Japan or Croatia.
Coach Tite said of his talisman, "If Neymar plays, it's because he is in full health and ready to start, to play from the opening, to play the entire game with no constraints.
"My preference is always to play my best players from the start."
The injury situation in Brazil is becoming worse. After suffering injuries earlier in the competition, starting full-backs Danilo and Alex Sandro are out, and it's still unknown when they'll be available.
The Brazilian FA declared Telles and forward Gabriel Jesus, who both sustained a knee injury against Cameroon, out for the remainder of the competition on Saturday. Brazil's first World Cup setback came against an African nation as Tite made nine changes to the lineup that defeated Switzerland, despite having already qualified for the next round with two victories.
