Juventus' whole board of directors, including president Andrea Agnelli, has resigned, and the Italian team will appoint Gianluca Ferrero to take his position.Juventus' financial accounts were recently investigated by Italian market regulator Consob and Italian prosecutors for possible incorrect accounting and market manipulation, which led to the group resignation. Any misconduct by the corporation has been refuted.
A Juventus statement read: "The Board of Directors, considering the focus and relevance of the pending legal and technical-accounting issues, have deemed it in the best interest to recommend that Juventus adopt a new Board of Directors to deal with these issues."
