A text message made by Ronaldo to Piers Morgan shortly after he left Manchester United has been revealed.
The Portuguese national team's captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, and British broadcaster Piers Morgan exchanged texts shortly after the forward's departure from Manchester United last month, according to Morgan. Recently, Ronaldo and Morgan collaborated on one of football's most tense interviews in which the five-time Ballon d'Or winner attacked the Red Devils. Due to Ronaldo's amazing attack, his position became untenable, and the organization and player mutually agreed to end his contract.Being his main spokesperson, Morgan disclosed to The Telegraph in an interview that he had sent Ronaldo a "GiF" of William Wallace shouting "Freedom" in the movie Braveheart, to which the Portuguese player responded simply.
Morgan said: “I texted Cristiano a GIF of William Wallace in Braveheart shouting: ‘Freedom!’ “He thought that was a perfect summation of how he felt. ‘Free as a bird’ was his response.”
